Dog-friendly stays in Shanklin
We welcome small, well-behaved dogs in selected rooms, for £30 per stay. We keep it to a few rooms on purpose, so the right guests book and everyone, two-legged and four, has a calm stay. Please mention your dog when you book so we can put you in the right room.

Where your dog can go
Dogs are welcome in the bedroom, reception and the bar. They are not allowed in the breakfast room, but you are welcome to have breakfast with your dog in the bar instead. The lounge bar has bifold doors that open onto our outdoor terrace, so there is room to settle in comfort.
The welcome pack
Your dog gets a welcome pack with treats, a toy and water bowls. It is our way of saying your dog is a guest here too.
The suite we had was great and was large enough to accommodate our 2 dogs.
If you want to bring your canine companion with you this hotel ticks all the boxes.
Walks from the door
The beach is about a ten-minute walk away, and the clifftops and the coastal path are close by. Shanklin Old Village and Shanklin Chine are within walking distance too. Beach rules for dogs change through the year, so please check the local seasonal restrictions before you set off in summer. For longer routes, see our walking breaks page.
What to bring
Bring your dog's usual lead, bedding and anything that helps them feel at home. We provide water bowls, treats and a toy. Owners are responsible for any damage their dog causes.
